The RGC Road&Drift model was designed for cost-effective use. The R&D delivers higher durability of the compounds at the expense of performance. The main focus is on the lowest possible end price for the customer. Due to the harder compounds, the tire is characterized by weaker performance on wet roads than the performance-oriented TD01 and TD02 models.

The RGC R&D is ideal for drifting, training or everyday use where performance is not important.
